A Rocha relies entirely on grants and generous donations from our supporters. When you partner with A Rocha Aotearoa NZ as a regular donor, you enable us to plan our mahi and offer employment to talented and skilled people to do the mahi throughout the year. Consider giving a monthly gift to help us continue our work to protect and restore the environment through community-based conservation projects, research, and education.
A Rocha Aotearoa New Zealand is an IRD-approved donee organisation so all donations of $5 and more from NZ tax residents are eligible for donation tax credits.

When will I receive my donation receipt from A Rocha Aotearoa New Zealand to claim donation tax credits?
Please ensure we have your latest email address so that your annual donation receipt for the financial year ending 31 March can be emailed to you in April. If you have not received or have misplaced your donation receipt or have trouble opening it, please email us at [email protected].

When you fill in your IR526 after March 31 to claim your donation tax rebate, add our bank account details below to Section 9.
Or if you are submitting your donation tax receipts online via myIR, go to Home > Donation tax credit > I want to > Manage refund bank accounts… then ‘Add a new bank account’ using the following details:

What happens next?
The donation tax rebate will be paid into A Rocha Aotearoa NZ’s bank account, which makes your original donation stretch even further.
Can I get a receipt from A Rocha Aotearoa NZ for donating my tax rebate?
Yes, we can provide you with a donation tax receipt for the tax rebate you donated to A Rocha Aotearoa NZ, so you can claim a further rebate on this amount next year. Email us at [email protected] with: Your name, IRD number, email address, and the amount transferred (IRD does not provide us with name and address details). We will then be able to receipt these funds in your name, enabling you to claim a further tax credit next year.
