Karioi Project creating pathways for youth

8th April 2019

The Raglan Chronicle recently profiled Dayton Keremeta, an inspiring young person who has been involved with the Karioi Project’s pilot NCEA-level education programme at Raglan Area School. The Manaaki Ao programme is a partnership between Raglan Area School, Papa Taiao Earthcare and A Rocha Aotearoa New Zealand and was started in 2017. The programme aims to develop NCEA students’ skills in sustainable and ecological actions and enable them to earn NCEA credits through hands-on practical conservation activities.
