Auckland

A Rocha has been working in three areas of Auckland since 2008. Our overall goal is to build a community of A Rocha supporters and a wider network of people in the Auckland region to encourage and enable each other to care for creation and live sustainably, and to be involved in environmental education, research, practical conservation, and sustainability projects.

A Rocha Auckland holds regular working mornings planting and weeding at Unsworth Reserve on the North Shore, and at Oakley Creek in Avondale, as well as helping planting and restoration at Matuku Link in Bethell’s valley. We welcome volunteers to help with these working bees.

Auckland is a huge city and would benefit from further creation care projects, but these can only come about if other Christians are moved to set them up in their local area. Talk to us if you are interested in this!
