Sustainable September resources
A Rocha’s Auckland local group hosted Sustainable September at Ponsonby Baptist Church on 2 Sept, as part of the Auckland Climate Festival, and to coincide with Season of Creation. The target audience was Eco Church kaihāpai from the region and to hear and learn from each other.
Here’s an outline of the evening along with accompanying resources:
4-5pm Optional e-bike trials and free bike checks
5-6pm Silvia Purdie – talk and group discussion
- ‘What is God up to in the face of climate change?’ A short talk by Silvia Purdie.
6-7pm Dinner (and more e-bike trials if required)
7-8:30pm Four mini inspirational talks to equip Eco Church kaihāpai with resources and ideas for the Eco Church journey.
